    hey, i just downloaded and extracted CamStudio.2.5.b1.bin, if i click any of the shortcuts ie. recorder, player or producer etc i get the following system error message..
    "The program can't start because MSVCR71.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem".
    i am using windos 7, i have it insatalled on my desktop PC and laptop.. on my desktop pc camstudio works 100% fine.. so im sure its not my OS

    what could be the problem?

    Said dll-file can be downloaded from the same location you got CS 2.5 [1]. As mentioned in the blog post[2] about 2.5, put this file in the Camstudio-folder (where Recorder.exe is), and it should work. If not, try copying the dll to c:\windows\system32.

    i had to download all those files lol, it opens now.. thanks alot mate

    now to get it to record from the speaker :D
