Can u capture from Windows Media Player?

edited August 2008 in General Discussion
If i want to capture only a portion of a movie, when i play it back it plays all black.... Anyway to make adjustments so that it records just as it does the normal screen output?

Also, when using the Xvid option, sometimes it comes up and says current compressor isn't working and to go to default. Whats the problem here?

  • Did you try turning off the hardware acceleration because that make the recording black.
Here is the link to a video tutorial I created which shows you how to use camstudio and also set your desktop settings for recording with windows media player
