Vista Home Premium Codec?
Hi Folks..I've been all over searching for one good solution, and I'm sure you've heard this question a million times. I had one of my old VHP PC's repaired, and have tried Vista Codec, K-Lite, DivXX, etc.. I want something with great quality, low file size. What do I use??? And, if you have a suggestion, are there any other files or tweaks needed? I'm using 2.0. Is there a different ver that would be better for this?

Terry Britton recommends the xvid codec for the best combination of quality and small file size. Here's a link to the version of xvid that he recommends: http://screencasttutorial.org/53/jawors-xvid-my-newest-codec-of-choice-for-games-webinars-or-tutorials-453
In addition, this thread has the settings Terry recommends: http://camstudio.org/forum/discussion/658/req-recommended-settings-for-recording-for-90-min.#Item_49

Even Jawor's Xvid wouldn't work? Did you uninstall any codec packs you may have installed in there already? They can sometimes interfere with the operation of all the others.
