file conversion

I need help in converting a .camrec file from camtasia into a .AVI file. I wasnt aware that I had to record it AVI and now my Camtasia trial ended and I can't play back any of the .camrec vids that I made. And I can't afford $299 right now to buy Camtasia. Will Camstudio play .camrec files?

Any help would be appreciated.

    OK Camtasia's camrec type is just like every other type of video file but you most likly have to use camtasia studio to save it as a avi...

    When you right-click the CAMREC file, do you get an "Extract" option?

    If you do, choose that and then the AVI filename. Done.
