CanStudio does not recognise my web cam

I'm sure this has been asked before but why doesn't CamStudio detect the built in webcam on my laptop?

    Because it is very picky for some reason. It doesn't like my Blue Eyeball, nor my Microsoft Lifecam Cinema, but it likes my Logitech C920. I have no idea why.

    If you absolutely need the camera, I can highly recommend http://obsproject.com which is free, open source software with recording AND streaming capabilities. I have several videos on how to get started with it here:
