I've been trying to download the codec, without any luck !
Hi
I've been trying to download the codec, without any luck !
I clicked the link in your registration email, ie:
Jawor's Xvid compressor/codec -
http://www.digital-digest.com/software/download.php?sid=1052&ssid=0&did=14
But when I click its download links, it returns the error message: Not Found
NB: This problem's been there at least 3 days now !
Q1: What's the difference between the different sites that offer this for download, are they all supplying the same file ?
Q2: So are there any-other reliable/trusted download sites for this codec ?
Q3: Does CamStudio have a copy that I could download ?
Q4: What about: https://www.xvid.org ( Xvid-1.3.3-20141019.exe )
Thanks

You could use the copy at http://www.xvid.org without issues. Just make sure to get the 32-bit version for CamStudio to work with. The tutorials show using some of the options in Jawor's version, but many of those are now incorporated into the stock version.

That's the same sub-link I've been trying, which now works, so I guess they've fixed it ?
Thanks
