Windows 8 issues

edited February 2013 in Support
I just installed on my new laptop with Windows 8. Never had any issue on my old laptop with xp. During my first install some files were not accepted and it asked to use default, so I said yes. I encountered problems, removed program and reinstalled more than once (never got that message about using default again). I deleted the folder in Windows Program Files. And reinstalled. Now when I run camstudio, all files saved are as swf. Nothing I change in options gets back to avi file format. Something is really wrong.

  • To get back to AVI format, you have to hit a toggle button on the toolbar (a little picture icon). Yes, that is confusing!
