mouse shimmy on most machines while recording
CamStudio does exactly what I need. However on most of the machines we use the mouse will shimmy while recording, (the playback is fine), which is very distracting for those watching the training that I am recording.
I have tried all kinds of settings to no avail.
The machines that have the problem are Dell Optiplex 755 with Intel Q35 Express Chipset Family video (both XP and Vista), also tried different monitors
I have one older Dell Optiplex GX270 with NVIDIA GeForce 4MX440 with AGP8X video on which CamStudio works fine with no mouse shimmy. Unfortunately I cannot always take that machine to the training sessions.
Any ideas of how to eliminate the shimmy would be much appreciated.
