Audio Compression stopped at 32%

edited January 2010 in Support
Due to either low memory or space. The video alone hits around 4 gb, so I freed up some space on my hard drive. However, it's still stuck at 32%. Is there anyway to restart compression without having to record again (which is not an option at this point)? Are there any alternatives?

Thanks

  • I think the problem is that CamStudio creates AVI 1.0 format files which are limited (in Windows) to a maximum filesize of 2gb and because of this the audio compression routine is 'having a turn'.

If you still have the temporary avi/wav files (which will be in the location you chose in CamStudio) then you might be able to rebuild the AVI using VirtualDub.

    Cheers
