Serious problem with Windows 7

edited March 2010 in Support
I installed CamStudio on my Windows 7 Starter netbook. When I minimize the program, it does not unminimize out of task bar, but instead launches a new instance and then I get the following popup message "Unable to set shortcuts for Record / Pause Key" . If I try closing it in the taskbar, the screen begins flashing all sorts of green colors and I have to log off Windows and log back on. This makes the program unusable for me. Is anyone else experiencing this with Windows 7?

  • Hi David

Are you running CamStudio in XP Compatibility Mode?

  • Hi David,

I also got the same problem in windows 7.

After started the recording and minimising , I could no longer access that. The instance is available in the hidden tray. ( A small upward arrow mark near the date and time -- bottom right corner ) . Right click the camstudio icon and stop / pause and save it.

    Cheers.
