Unable to Open AVI File
I created an AVI file using Cam Studio Recorder last week. It was a six hour training session and I recorded both video and sound. The file size is 4GB. When I go to open in Cam Studio Player 1 or 2, I get an error message "Unable to open file D:\dons movie.avi" .
I have created other avi files in the past, albeit smaller and had no problems playing.
Does anyone have any suggestions as I would hate to lose this important video?

You have run headlong and unprepared into the infamous "AVI 2-Gigabyte Limitation", which is inherent in the specification for AVI.
If you still have the temp files from this video, you MIGHT be able to rescue it via a program called VirtualDub.
