voice and video sync

edited March 2011 in Support
Hi, first let me say that i love the software, i even gave the software a plug and kudos on my video as made using it. I am not a video pro this is my first attempt at using such software. I have simple question, my video demo is 15 min long and i noticed that as i get over half way in the video the voice and video loose sync, meaning that what i say is ahead of the actions on the screen by about 15 seconds or so, seems the video part of it seems to start falling behind while the voice is fine, i tried adjusting the interlace and even turned that off but i cant seem to find what im doing wrong. Do i just need to slow down in my presentation and stop talking for a bit to let it catch up, im not sure what to do.. i could not find anything in the faq related to my situation because i dont know what you call whats happening, thanks

Update, i changed the settings and the codec as described in the video above and it did make a smaller file but by the time i get to the end of my video demo i counted and the video portion is lagging by a full 18sec from the audio, im talking about something totally different and the video is still on the last subject for 18 sec before it changes...

    durangod,

Take a look at this article here:

    http://screencasttutorial.org/18/best-settings-for-camstudio-to-sync-audio-and-video-28

This has worked for many people - let me know if it does not work for you. (or even if it does!)

Also, since you are new, check out this one, as it may have some helpful info:

I placed several of the longer answers to frequently asked questions from this forum at that site, so have a look around!
