OGG Recording?

I was curious if this would ever be a feature. I think it'd kinda cool to be able to capture in a complete open source codec. So the ogg audio and video codecs. I know there are different names but I cant think of them at the moment.

You would do this via FFMPEG if your FFMPEG is set to use theora / vorbis.

Ahhhh yes.... I tried out ffdshow because i had camstudio setup perfectly but i found out ffdshow wasnt the right program... ffmpeg is the one. I still think it would be a good move for this to be implemented into the program itself. Since all of the codecs it comes with arent all that great.

coldReactive has convinced me to use Xvid. Great frame rates and lots of support. Look into Jawor's Xvid codec (I write about it a bit at http://screencasttutorial.org/53/jawors-xvid-my-newest-codec-of-choice-for-games-webinars-or-tutorials-453 )
