Recording voice...comp audio at a whisper?

I want to record a Let's Play of a game, but for some reason CamStudio can't seem to pick up the game's audio at anything more than a bare whisper...if I talk or not, it just doesn't seem to want to pick it up. What can I do?

    Can you make me a video of your audio settings, including the Stereo Mix and speaker playback settings? Usually it is in there somewhere. I did find that on some systems, you cannot have your headphones plugged in at all, as it turns off the speaker mixer subsystem that is required by Stereo Mix.
