Can't run CamStudio 2.6
I go to the site and download the latest version. It installs no prob, but upon running from setup I get:
"Unable to execute file:
C:\Program Files\CamStudio 2.6b\Recorder.exe
CreateProcess failed; code 14001.
This application as failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem."
Well sometimes there are issues that arise when running from the setup. So I ran it from the start menu, got the same relative error:
"C:\Program Files\CamStudio 2.6b\Recorder.exe
This application as failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem."
Any reason for this?

Another alternative is to go to Sourceforge where you got 2.6b and try 2.6c in the "next" folder. It is basically 2.6b with a couple bugs fixed, from what I can gather.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/camstudio/files/next/
For the new version to run, you need to go to Microsoft and download the 2010 version of the Microsoft C++ runtime files. The older 2.6b above used the 2008 version.

You may already have the 2010 version installed on your machine.
