if your audio sounds horrible, read..
im running XP 32 bit
my very first video i recorded, the audio (when recording from SPEAKERS) was scratchy, crackly and super loud, sounded terrible. what worked like a charm was to set my systems MASTER VOLUME down to about 30 percent or so. the next attempt sounded fine. just thought i'd throw that out there.
