How can I mark and record the content of one window?

edited April 2009 in Support
When I go in CamStudio to the menu "Region" then I miss there an entry "window".
I want to record what is happening in exactly one window (e.g. a browser).

Drawing a freehand rectangle around such a window is too unconvenient and fuzzy.

Is there a way to mark one particular window for recording?

  • There are two ways of doing something like this:

    1) Use the 2.5 beta, which has the option you miss, for recording a window. See here for download:

    2) Set CamStudio to record a specific region, and then use a program like Sizer (http://www.brianapps.net/sizer.html) to resize and position the window to exactly fit the region.
