error message: no movie recorded
Hi! yesterday I recorded the PhD defense of my friend via Skype. At the end of the recording, I got an error message saying that the move was not created. I was so sad! Is there a way to get back some raw data or something and recreate the movie? Thanks so much for your kind help

Take a look here for some discussion about rescuing the file, but most efforts fail, I am sad to say. VirtualDub and Media Coder seem to have given folks the most luck.
