So Camstudio isn't a viable alternative for system intensive recording?
Is it correct that CamStudio just isn't going to match other apps for recording online gaming etc. that require a really robust screen capture program?
Further is it correct that "Record From Speakers" just doesn't work, period? You get the "WaveoutGetSelectControl() failed" message no matter what?

The "Record from Speakers" works on SOME hardware configurations even on Win7 (though we've no idea why... even some Win7 64-bit machines!!), but most users have to use "Record from microphone" with "Stereo Mix" made visible and set as the default input device.
