CamStudio/Windows Media Player problem

I recently downloaded CamStudio for a school project and it installed fine, or so I thought. When I finished recording, it opened up Windows Media Player and a dialogue box popped up saying that it had encountered a problem when trying to play the file. It then had that I could either cancel or click "web help" I clicked web help and it had me make sure my microphone was properly installed (which it is) and update windows and try again. I did that and it still will not work. Any suggestions??

  • Usually problems arise from either the region not being even numbers for the width and height, or the video being too long and breaking the AVI-1 spec imposed 2 gigabyte file size limit. Can you give me more information on your codec chosen and the region you used?
