Works good with windows 7, not with Vista 64 bit?

edited March 2013 in Support
I downloaded this on my laptop with windows 7 64bit and it works great, But today I downloaded and installed on my desk top using Vista 64 bit and it won't open and gives me a message that "this application has failed to start because mfc100.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." Well, reinstalling does not help. I have done it several times after un-installing.

Yes, if you just got the most recent version of CamStudio (2.7) you need to install the x86 version of Microsoft's 2010 C++ runtime libraries, as Vista used the 2008 version or earlier. You can get that here:

You are using the x86 version because CamStudio is a 32-bit application, so you need this 32-bit version of the runtime libraries.
