Recording Error

Hello,
I'm new to Camstudio. When I recorded a powerpoint presentation, it also recorded the Camstudio Icon & timer. What am I doing wrong?

Any help w/b appreciated!

    For the timestamp: See if Effects --> Annotation --> "Add System time stamp" is checked -- uncheck it.
