Low Sound Quality
I'm getting low sound quality in recording...it seems like the sound has been turned all the way up on one component of the recording process and it's coming out moderately crackly. this is occuring when using the Record Audio from Microphone function, and having disabled my Windows mic and instead feeding the Playback into CamStudio's input (I had the WaveoutGetSelectControl() failed error, so this was the solution.
I've fooled with several different sound knobs (the computer's, the Audio Control device, CamStudio, etc. and set them to around 75%. I've also tried to install LAME MP3 encoder, but was unable to find it in CamStudio.
Any help on improving sound recording quality would be greatly appreciated.
