    I am not sure I understand the problem. It sounds as if you are concerned about the "region" rather than the cursor.

    The first choice on the Region menu permits you to select a different area of the screen each time you record. You use the selection tool to define it.

    The second choice allows you to select a particular area of the screen to be captured each time you record until you change the choice. Again you define the area with the selection tool.

    Selecting the third choice will capture the whole screen.

    I hope this helps with what I believe was your question. My French is very, very poor but Google translate helped some, but I may still not have understood the question. If not, I apologize.
