Codec Discoloration

edited June 2010 in Support
When I make youtube tutorials, I capture them with the camstudio lossless codec, load them into virtualdub, add a watermark, and then export them to avi via camstudio codec again. But this time, the colors are being inverted. Any Ideas why?

Edit: It seems that only SOME of the colors are being inverted.... wierd...
Edit2: If it helps any:

Windows XP
2 Processors
2 GB Ram
Was recording 1280x720p with the CamStudio codec
I used the built in "logo" filter in virtual dub.

  • Don't know why it happens, but try exporting from Vdub with another codec.
  • Ok, turns out, windows media player decodes the video wrong. When I upload it to youtube or open it in virtual dub, everything looks okay.
