CamStudio lossless codec issues

It seems when we have tested camstudio with the lossless codec on long presentations it seems to be recording, however when we save it fails to save the audio stream and then we loose everything. This happens on presentations that are longer than 45 min, and I found a common factor that the file size is around 4 gigs for each of our tests that have had issues. We save our file to NTFS hard drive so their are no limitations with that, and finding the temp video most of it is there.. I'm wondering if this is an issue with the codec and if so is their a way to fix this?

    does cam studio have issues with quad cores?

    I get a crash recorder.exe application error..
    the instruction at 0x7c168f1d" referenced memory at 0x0000001c. The memory could not be read.. click to terminate the program.
