I'm running Windows 7 64 bit. Is there any way to get H264 to work in Camstudio using x264vfw64 ?

Also I'm using x264vfw the 32 bit codec with no success

hey - I just spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to get the x264vfw codec running successfully. I finally did get it working, and its great. Take a look at: http://camstudio.org/forum/discussion/681/audio-synching-issues-with-h264-codec

see if it helps with any of your issues. Let me know

My problem is that I don't even see it as an option. I installed both the 32bit and 64bit versions and I still don't see it as an option

oh, yeh - I think that is a known issue with the latest beta - I'm not sure how to solve it. It works fine for me on both 2.0 and 2.5beta

Yes, it works with 2.6 r264 also. Not with r273 or r294 though.

I never did get to see it in 2.0, though I think it was available via ffdshow.
